Apulia

Apulia has always been famous for its grain harvests, olives and wine. It attracted invaders and traders over many centuries - Greeks, Romans, Byzantines and Saracens from early to late antiquity. Then, in the eleventh century the Normans, looking to make their fortuenes, set out for Apulia where there was a great demand for their famed horses, their horsemanship and their brutality in fighting. Our eight day tour is led by Dr Tervor Joscelyne who has extensive knowledge of Apulia.

For over 25 years, Prospect has been one of the UK's leading Cultural Tour Operators, organising holidays for individuals and small groups to Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Far East, the USA and Australia.

Our knowledge of destinations and itineraries means that we can organise tours for two people which are as economical as travelling with a group. This allows a great deal of flexibility both of timing and of places visited, as well as the amount of guiding included and the level of accommodation.

We have also been arranging visits to International Music Festivals and major Opera Houses. We are now returning to the traditional area of interest in UK based music festivals. For many years our clients have travelled with us to the Glyndebourne Touring Festival, and to Buxton, Aldeburgh and Malvern. For 2009 we intend to extend this range to include the BBC - Cardiff Singer of the Year, Buxton Gilbert and Sullivan Festival, music in Manchester and other UK cities.

If you want to visit Paris for an opera performance, Morocco for a week's guided tour,  Mongolia or Libya, or perhaps a join a classical music cruise, then why not give us a call and see what we can arrange for you.

Our website reflects our current activities and is updated regularly with new tours and ideas.  Call us on 01227 743307 or send us an e-mail with your requirements to bookings@prospecttours.com
